"CAT NAP"
"Cat Nap" is the story of the mama cat before she died. She has been gone many years now and used to sleep and preen on my mothers sofa, seen in the painting. They used to sit on the sofa together. My mother lived to be 92 before she passed away. I took this photo before they were both gone. I left a space on the right where my mother used to sit. Mama cat had 2 babies upstairs under my sons bed. They have all gone now. This was a beautiful sunny day as the afternoon sun shone brightly through the window on the west side of the house making the outline of Mama cat glow with her dark grey beauty.
